This stunning set of handmade teak pieces is a perfect size for use in home or office. It makes an ideal centrepiece for tables, drawing the attention of your visitors!
This stunning set is sealed in a medium brown and dark brown stain and treated with high gloss polyurethane. The thick stains help protect the pieces from the effects of the sun. The full range of colors is visible through the medium stain, and the wood grain is clear through the darker stain.
The hand carved pieces are highly detailed and meticulously handcrafted by artisans to ensure they maintain their appearance.
Note board/playing table not included. All playing surfaces are available as options extras including standard Board and All in One Board with Case and Chess Table.

Handmade with off cuts from the teak furniture industry showing beautiful natural knots and grain variations the set includes 32 regulation pieces. These pieces are suitable for play indoors or outdoors but are recommended for indoor play due to the felt pads on the bases of each piece.
Note board/playing table not included. All playing surfaces are available as options extras including standard Board and All in One Board with Case and Chess Table.

| Care and Maintenance | Teak is one of earth's most weatherproof and toughest woods. Like any wood product left outdoors in the Australian sun your chess set must be cared for to last. Although the teak wood has been dried and cured for a year before carving, it will continue to dry in your first year of ownership. While curing, protect the set from direct sun when not in use ideally by placing in the shade and out of direct heat. By Immediately repairing any nicks or cracks and your set will age beautifully. This set comes with felt-covered bases. |
